The long-term effects of the biolicit procedure for original and biosimilar GCSF and EPO products in Hungary

Aim: We aimed to analyse the long-term effects of biosimilar bids NEAK regarding GCSF and EPO drugs. Data Methods: Our analysis is based on data derived from nationwide pharmaceutical database NEAK. The treatment days reimbursement figures 12 months periods has been compared, 01.07.2011-30.06.2014. 01.07.2017.-30.06.2019. Results: In preceding price competition bid products 13974 patients received G-CSF, 7.49 billion HUF health insurance paid, 5 years later turnover product increased (314760, 340100 DOT value), whereas decreased (2.03 HUF, 1.95 respectively). before biosimial competition, 4167 were treated with erythropoietin, resulting in 2.33 reimbursements, last 2 (48727, 50813 value respectively) (1.004 1.002 Conclusions: long-range analyses revealed that case despite elevated a longer period as well. During following start switch original biosimilars could be observed.
